Note: the calculations are estimates based on the information you provide and Revolut's official prices for France (price list in force since 9 July 2026). They are there to guide your decision, not to replace a full personal analysis.

Your monthly spending

Two separate amounts are needed: your total card spending (to work out the value of your RevPoints) and the share in foreign currencies (to work out the exchange savings).

Payments outside the euro area only (travel, foreign shops, subscriptions in another currency...), used to work out the savings on exchange fees. Standard: €1,000/month fee-free, then 0.5%; Plus: €3,000/month; Premium, Metal and Ultra: unlimited.

Total cash withdrawals each month. Free up to €200/month (Standard and Plus), €400/month (Premium), €800/month (Metal) and €2,000/month (Ultra), then 2% above that (minimum €1) on every plan.

The annual subscription lowers the monthly cost of every paid plan: Plus €40/year, Premium €110/year, Metal €185/year, Ultra €595/year. In annual mode, the simulator uses these prices divided by 12.

How does the simulator work?

Data sources used

All the prices and perks used in this simulator come from Revolut's official price lists for France (revolut.com), checked on 8 September 2026 and centralised in a single source for the whole site. Current monthly prices: Plus €3.99, Premium €10.99, Metal €18.99, Ultra €60. The value of a RevPoint is set by default at 0.7c (adjustable from 0.4c to 1.5c depending on how you use them). A DragonPass lounge visit is valued at around €35 at full price (Standard, Plus) and €28 at the reduced rate (Premium, Metal), indicative prices shown in the app; Ultra gives the account holder free, unlimited access.

Calculation method

For each plan, the simulator adds up the benefits that can be given a monetary value for your profile: savings on exchange fees (vs Standard, €1,000/month then 0.5%), savings on ATM withdrawals (2% above each plan's allowance), the incremental value of RevPoints (Standard baseline: 1 point per €10; Premium ×2.5, Metal ×5, Ultra ×10), the value of the insurance included (Plus €6, Premium €11, Metal €17, Ultra €20 per month), the value of lounge access (capped at 4 visits a month) and the savings boost. The formula is: net gain = total estimated benefits minus the plan's monthly cost. The plan with the best net gain is recommended.

A word of caution on the estimates

These calculations are indicative estimates. The actual value depends on your precise habits, the exchange rates at the time of each transaction and the terms of use of the insurance. Some benefits (insurance, lounges, partner subscriptions) only materialise if you actually use them. This simulator is a decision-support tool, not personalised financial advice.
