Launched in the United Kingdom on 9 April 2026 to 13 million customers, AIR (short for "AI by Revolut") has been rolling out gradually in France and continental Europe since 1 September 2026. The assistant is reached by swiping down from the app's home screen, or via Profile then Chats.
What AIR can do
- Analyse your spending by category and by period, and answer in natural language ("how much did I spend on restaurants in August?").
- Spot your recurring subscriptions and how they change over time.
- Carry out simple security actions, such as blocking a card.
- Show the price and performance of your investments.
- Prepare a trip: convert RevPoints into an eSIM or lounge access, for example.
What it does not do
AIR does not execute any transfers and does not give financial advice: it describes, it does not steer. No plan restriction has been mentioned at this stage; the rollout is happening in waves, so it may still be missing from your app.
And your data?
Revolut states that its third-party AI providers operate under "zero data retention" and that your information is not used to train external models. The model provider has not been disclosed.
